About Me

- grew up on an acreage in southern Alberta with her 6 siblings, loves her large family then married her husband in 2007 and became a mother to her beautiful sons, born in 2008 and 2011. Both births were challenging and life-changing experiences that matured her into the most loving mother and caring doula she can be. Continuing her education is important to Abigail. She has pursued training in many areas from breastfeeding, kangaroo mother care, massage, midwifery assistance, waterbirth and yoga positioning. She has been priviledged to learn from some of the most revered birth and postnatal experts such as Barbara Harper, Dr. Nils Bergman, Ina May Gaskin, Pamela Hunt and Joanne Santana, among others.
